OSINT Consulting FAQ
What does an OSINT consultant do?
An OSINT consultant helps you use open-source intelligence well: framing the question, scoping research, judging the reliability of findings and training your team. An OSINT investigator, by contrast, delivers the findings themselves.
What is the difference between an OSINT expert and an OSINT analyst?
In practice the terms overlap. Analyst usually describes the person doing the research; expert or specialist usually describes a senior practitioner who advises, reviews or trains.
How much does OSINT consulting cost?
We price consulting and training individually after a short call. For context, UK contract OSINT specialists earn a median of £575 a day.
Can you train our compliance or security team in OSINT?
Yes. Corporate courses are available online or in person, in English or Ukrainian, and are built around your team's own scenarios.
Can you help us build an in-house OSINT function?
We help through advanced training aimed at teams that are scaling their processes and recruiting analysts, combined with practical advice from practitioners. Tell us where you are starting from.
Can an OSINT expert review a report from another provider?
Ask us. We can usually explain what a report proves, what it assumes and what is missing, and recommend whether further work is needed.
Do you provide OSINT expert witnesses?
We do not currently offer expert-witness services. Our investigation reports and evidence packs can support your lawyers and your appointed experts.
Is OSINT consulting confidential?
Yes. We do not disclose client information without written consent, and we can work under your NDA.
